We’re thrilled to bring you an update on our ongoing Grand Isle project. Our team at Vermont Renovation and Remodeling has been hard at work, and we’re excited to share the progress we’ve made so far.

The project has reached an exciting stage. We’ve completed most of the rough and electrical work, and our beautiful cabinets have been delivered. We’ve also laid down some stunning wood floors, which add a warm and inviting touch to the space.

Currently, our team is focused on installing interior doors. We’re also in the process of removing some windows to make way for new ones. One of the highlights of this project is the spiral staircase and fireplace, which add a unique charm to the house. The mantel that will be fitted inside the doors is another feature we’re excited about.

We’re particularly proud of the bathroom vanity, which gives you a glimpse of what the kitchen will look like. We’re going for a cool blue theme, which will be complemented with a mirror and some lights. We’re also planning to install a glass door in the shower, adding a modern touch to the bathroom.

Working with older houses like this one can be challenging, especially when it comes to fine-tuning the doors and trim. But with a few tricks of the trade, we’re making it work. We’ve had to put a little extension jam on the walls, which will be filled in with some sawdust and glue to hide it.

One of the highlights of this project is the kitchen island, which will feature a pop of color with a gorgeous blue. It pairs really well with the ceiling, adding a unique charm to the space.

We’re excited about the progress we’ve made on the Grand Isle project and can’t wait to share more updates with you. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to transform this beautiful old house into a modern, comfortable home.
